MUNTI LGU DISTRIBUTES 10 NEW AMBULANCES AND 34 MOTORCYCLES TO ENHANCE PUBLIC SERVICES

The Muntinlupa City Government has officially handed over ten new ambulances to all nine barangays and the Department of Disaster Resilience and Management to enhance medical and emergency response services.

These ambulances, featuring high-visibility Battenburg designs, are fully equipped with basic life support supplies and equipment, blinkers, and sirens.

“Nag turn over tayo ng mga ambulansya sa lahat ng mga barangay ng Muntinlupa, bahagi ng ating programa ng paghahanda sa sakuna at emergencies. These ambulances will significantly enhance medical response services for our residents,” said Mayor Ruffy Biazon during the turnover ceremony.

“Makikita na ang mga disenyo ng ambulansya ay hango sa international markings ng ambulansya na tinatawag na Battenburg livery. Ito ay para sa high visibility, easier identification at safety,” he added.

In addition to the ambulances, the city has also distributed 34 ‘Honda Click 125’ motorcycles to various departments, including the Business Permits and Licensing Office, Community Affairs and Development Office, and Colegio de Muntinlupa, among others. These motorcycles are part of an ongoing effort to improve mobility and efficiency in public services.

“These motorcycles will help our offices fulfill their mandates more effectively. Let’s use them properly to better serve our community,” added Mayor Biazon.

Earlier this year, Muntinlupa provided 19 service vehicles and 20 motorcycles, which include 16 400cc units for traffic enforcers to enhance road regulation enforcement.

The continuous provision of vehicles underscores the City Government’s commitment to equipping its offices with essential resources. Mayor Biazon encourages all departments and barangays to utilize these vehicles for more efficient and effective service delivery.
